Intestate or Testate?: How can probate records help your research?

The records filed with a probate court after someone dies can provide huge insight into their family life by showing what goods they owned (and what occupations they might pursued), who they considered close enough to leave money to – and how they are related, and who the probate court considered close enough to leave in charge of their money!

Of course, before you use those records, you have to be able to find them and understand that they mean. Testate or intestate?, my probate records class, begins March 15th. Register here.
